Mission Statement

Operation PAL™ provides support - through prayers and letters from the general public - to Marines and Corpsmen who have been injured or become ill while serving in combat zones.

Operation PAL™ encourages support of our wounded warriors in communities throughout the United States.
Dear Supporters,

This week gives all of us time to pause and reflect on the service of our Marines and service members for both Veteran's Day and the Marine Corps Birthday.

Remembering our men and women in uniform during the holidays is an important part of supporting the troops. We want to encourage you to write your holiday cards for Operation PAL™ soon as deadlines are quickly approaching.

To ensure we have ample time to screen and sort holiday mail and to be sure our Marines and Corpsmen receive the mail in time for Christmas, we ask that you give us four weeks lead time. Let's fill the Operation PAL™ post office box with holiday cards by November 27th!

As you're writing, please remember our most recent Operation PAL™ Marines. They are listed on the left-hand side of Operation PAL™ News, LCpl Kevin and LCpl Patrick.

Thank you - our Marine Corps families, friends and supporters - for taking advantage of this unique opportunity to support our wounded warriors this holiday season and throughout the year.

How does a family request support from Operation PAL™?
Commonly Asked Questions

Family, friends, Marines and military personnel are encouraged to contact us to request support for injured or ill Marines and Navy Corpsmen.

We then work behind the scenes to get necessary permissions to add the service member to the program. In addition to cards and letters for the Marine, we also provide support and resources to the families. Through the years, we've learned valuable information that we can pass on to the family members to help during this challenging time.

Wounded Marines are active duty personnel and as such are protected by the same security as any other Marine. Therefore, Marines and Navy Corpsmen are added to the program using first names only and all information is kept confidential.

If you are in a position to talk to the family of a severely wounded Marine facing a long recovery, please introduce the idea of Operation PAL™ to the family and encourage them to contact us.

If you are in a position to request support for a Marine or Corpsman yourself, please contact us at: OpPAL@marineparents.com
