Lcpl. Dominic was the sole survivor of an IED blast to a vehicle while serving in Afghanistan. He suffered the amputation of one of his legs and the other one is badly broken. He also has other injuries from the blast. This was his second deployment, the other having been Iraq. He was just married in February before this deployment. His family would be so appreciative if you send some good wishes his way.
Update: 3/10/2010 Dominic is now well on his way to recovery and is working hard to make the best of his 'new normal'. He thanks you all for the cards and letters you have sent and his family appreciates that you cared enough to write to them.
